Author’s Note: The following story takes place after the events of “The Angels Take Manhattan,” but before the events of “The Bells of St. John.” This story will also follow the “Attack on Titan” anime story arc and takes place shortly after the end of the last episode of season 1.

The morning sun had come up and bathed all but the darkest corners of a dirty alley in Trost in a warm, orange light. Besides a few stray cats and a handful of mangy rats, the alley was completely deserted. At least it was supposed to be deserted.

Like the shattering of glass in the middle of the night a sound had started to fill the alley, a sound unlike anything anyone had ever heard in any part of that city. It was the sound of the universe turning, and it was accompanied by a strange blue light and a whirling wind.

As the sound continued and the creatures in the alley scattered, an even stranger figure began to take shape. It started out very translucent but as the blue light kept increasing and decreasing it became much clearer. Eventually the figure became solid, the wind and sound stopped and sitting there in the middle of the alley was a blue police box. A few seconds later the door of the police box opened and out stepped a man who was just as peculiar as the box itself. He was wearing dark boots and trousers, a brown tweed coat, suspenders and to top it all off a red bowtie. His dark brown hair was parted so that it hung down over his right eye, and while he looked as if he was in his late twenties his dark green eyes portrayed that he was in fact centuries and centuries older; and that he had seen more than his fair share of horror and pain.  This was the Doctor, the Eleventh Doctor to be precise, and right now he was desperate to get away.

He then looked around at the alley he had arrived in, his face and his hearts worn down with grief and muttered to himself,

“Well, this looks as good as any other place.”

The Doctor then started to lock the door of the police box when there was a shout of “Hold It” coming from above him.  There was a sound similar to that of a zip line and then three teenagers jumped down from the roof of one of the adjacent buildings and surrounded him. The first one, a young man with scraggly brown hair and intense green eyes glared up at the Doctor in the same manner that a rattlesnake would stare down its prey. The second young man to the right of the first had shoulder-length blond hair, blue eyes and seemed more nervous than angry at the arrival of this stranger.  The dark haired young lady to the first young man’s left had an expression as stern and as stoic as stone, and a blood red scarf around her neck.  All three were wearing the same uniform, indicative that they were part of some sort of military, and all three were brandishing long and very sharp blades that were pointed right at the Doctor.

The Eleventh Doctor slowly raised his hands and joked to himself,

“So much for a quiet getaway…”

“Who are you,” the first young man demanded pointing his sword closer to the Doctor’s face.  “And how did you get here?!?”

“Whoa! Look, I’m sorry! I had no idea I was trespassing” the Doctor responded as he pushed the blade away from his face.  “Anyway, I’m the Doctor.”

“Doctor who,” the green-eyed teenager demanded, clearly not amused.

“Just the Doctor.  And to answer your second question I came in this thing,” the Time Lord responded exasperatedly and then rapped twice on the door of the police box.

“In a wooden box,” the blond haired boy asked.

“Of course! Why, what else would you travel all of time and space in,” the Doctor asked back.

Before the blond teen could come up with a response there was a distant crashing noise that grabbed the attention of all four people standing in the alley.

“Crap,” the green-eyed teen muttered under his breath. Then using the apparatus belted around his hips he rappelled up to the roof of the building that he’d jumped from earlier.

“Eren wait,” the blond boy shouted up toward his comrade. “What should we do with the prisoner?”

“Take him with us,” Eren responded and then ran off toward the sound of the crash.

EDIT: :iconizzie-the-obsesser: did this great image for me. fav.me/d9bgfwi Check out her gallery.

I told myself I wouldn't post this story until I was completely done writing it. However I just reached 25,000 pageviews and I figured this was a good way to celebrate.
I realize it's an odd combo but I hope the story I've come up with works. By the way, here's the song that inspired me to write this story in the first place. You could call it the main theme for this story: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToHo29…

Not entirely sure when I'll post the next chapter, kinda depends on how quickly I can get them churned out.

Thanks for reading and for all the support! :iconglompageplz:

How did I not notice this in your gallery before? This is a really cool idea, it's a very strange combination that I never thought I'd see but you're making it work.
